My name is DaNesa Fleck. I am originally from a small Midwestern town of Kimball, Nebraska. In 2008 I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an endorsement in Inclusive Early Childhood Education Birth to grade level 3. I started my first job that year as an elementary teacher in Grand Island at West Lawn Elementary. I taught there for three years prior to deciding to move back to my husband's hometown here in North Platte. I then became a kindergarten teacher at Washington Elementary where I have taught the last 8 years. In 2019, I graduated from Arkansas University with a masters degree in Educational Leadership. At this point in time, I took the job as principal of Buffalo Elementary School and Preschool Facilitator.

I have been married to my outgoing husband Ty for almost 10 years now. He owns his own residential and commercial appraising company here in North Platte and also works at Nebraska Truck Center. Our son Grayson just finished his first year of kindergarten and he loves everything gross that boys love, lives outside, and enjoys anything sports related. We also have a lovely huge white lab who we consider part of our family named, Taffie. I enjoy hanging out with my family, running/exercising, golfing, reading books when I have time, and of course I love a good TV show! I have a passion and love for teaching and cannot wait to lead all the great leaders at Buffalo Elementary.

Our mission at Buffalo Elementary is to ensure that students acquire the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for middle school and high school. We work to be sure our students are happy, respectful, and responsible. We are constantly working with our students to become lifelong learners who understand that the choices they make today will affect their tomorrow. Upon departing our school, every child leaves with positive self-esteem, a love for learning, and the skills necessary to be successful. Our motto is "Believe, Achieve, Succeed!"
