North Platte Public Schools | Physical Therapist
My name is Danielle Aman. I was born and raised in North Platte, and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School. I attended Creighton University, where I majored in Exercise Science and minored in Dance. I then went on to receive my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before moving back to North Platte, I completed a Pediatric Residency through the Munroe-Meyer Institute. I am a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist in Physical Therapy.
I am married to Colton Aman, who I met during school. Colton is also a Physical Therapist and works at Platte Valley Physical Therapy. I love being married to my best friend and colleague!
I have always had a passion for serving children. At the age of 12, I underwent neck surgery and wore a halo for six months. From my experiences, I learned first-hand what physical therapy can do for a child. Working for the North Platte Public School District, I am able to do what I love everyday. I work with children from birth to age 21, who qualify for Physical Therapy Services through Special Education. My role within the educational setting is to help kids fully access and participate within their environment.
I am also the Pacers Dance Team coach. From early morning practices, to game time performances, I am thankful to share my passion of dance with my team. More than than, I am thankful to be a part of these young ladies lives. To me, dance team is about building hardworking, confidence, kind, and committed leaders, while doing something I love.
