Washington Elementary | Third Grade
My name is Nicole Bruck. I am originally from North Platte and graduated from North Platte High school in 1998. I received my my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an Endorsement in Elementary Education, and my Master’s degree from Doane College in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am married to Josh Bruck. He is employed by North Platte Public Schools, and teaches sophomore world history. We have two daughters, Amelia and Greta.
I have taught at Washington Elementary since 2004. I taught 4th grade for 1 year, and have since taught third grade. Before teaching at Washington, I was a substitute teacher at Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Our mission at Washington Elementary is to ensure that students acquire the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for middle school and high school. We work to be sure our students are happy, respectful, and responsible. We are constantly working with our students to become lifelong learners who understand that the choices they make today will affect their tomorrow. Upon departing our school, every child leaves with positive self-esteem, a love for learning, and the skills necessary to be successful. Our motto is “Believe, Achieve, Succeed!”
