I am Amy Black. I am originally from Benkelman, NE and graduated from Dundy County High School. I have an Associate of Arts degree from McCook Community College. I received my Bachelor Degree of Arts from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I also received my Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.


I started my teaching career in Satanta, KS as a third grade teacher. I have also taught in Hayes Center, NE in sixth grade, Stapleton, NE in fourth grade, Lake Maloney School as 7-8 grade math, science and social studies teacher, Osgood Elementary School in fifth grade and I am currently a media specialist in the North Platte Public Schools.


I am married to Wyatt Black and have three children, Adriana, Bo and Mallory. They are currently enrolled in Osgood Elementary school. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors.
